PhDGreenCard.com is operated by The Messersmith Law Firm, P.A. References in these Terms to “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean The Messersmith Law Firm, P.A. References to “the Website” mean PhDGreenCard.com and the pages, materials and features available through it.

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

This Website provides general information only. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not guarantee eligibility, filing strategy, processing time or outcome.

1. General Information; No Legal Advice

The Website contains general information about United States immigration law and procedures, including employment-based classifications, adjustment of status, consular processing, processing times and related topics. The information is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Website content is not legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney who has reviewed the facts, documents, objectives and legal issues of a specific matter. Immigration outcomes depend on individual facts, evidence, procedural posture, agency policy and the law in effect at the relevant time.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Accessing the Website, reviewing its content, submitting a contact form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, communicating with Firm personnel, or receiving general information does not create an attorney-client relationship.

An attorney-client relationship is formed only after the Firm agrees to accept a specific matter and the Firm and client execute a written representation agreement. Until that occurs, the Firm has no duty to act, monitor a deadline, preserve a claim, file an application or protect a user’s legal interests.

3. Communications and Confidential Information

Do not send confidential, sensitive, privileged, proprietary or time-sensitive information through the Website, email, voicemail or another unsolicited communication unless the Firm has agreed to receive it for a represented matter.

16. Governing Law and Venue

Except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law or mandatory law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent a dispute concerning these Terms or use of the Website may be brought in court, the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
